Use SLStats to blog to your own WordPress blog

Posted on August 12, 2006

SLStats.com is proud to announce a new feature: To make blogging more interesting and appealing, you can now blog using the SLStats watch and have it appear on your own WordPress blog.

In order to do that, simply log into SLStats and enter your blog details (WordPress blogs on your own domain and on *.wordpress.com are both supported).

Then simply blog using the SLStats script as you would regularly and watch the blog entry appear on your own WordPress blog.

Set Your Password

Posted on August 7, 2006

If you can't or don't want to have to use the Login feature of the watch, you can set a password by typing "/slstats password". That will pick a random password for you. If you'd like to pick your own password, enter "/slstats password ".

After that you can use the login form on the web site rather than having to be in Second Life in order to access the site.

Update coming soon

Posted on August 3, 2006

I'm working on a really neat feature that will be interesting to just about any blogger out there. if you think the SLStats.com LiveBlog feature is cool, and you're blogger with your own blog somewhere, this will probably be of interest to you.

When exactly I will be able to release this I don't know. I'd like to say Today, but it may not be ready for a couple more days. However, it's definitely worth the wait.

Don't forget to try the rating feature, guys. Just type in /rate and hit enter. The watch will let you know what's up. At least it should. :-)

Have fun!

-Mark
