Did You Know?

When I was 14, I taught myself x86 Assembler with the help of Peter Norton's Assembly Language Book that I borrowed from my uncle.

Windtalkers

Saw Windtalkers today. I can't say I was all that impressed. Can't blame this movie though. I'm just all war movie'd out. The realistic depiction of violence is simply getting old. Whether it's shot-off arms in Saving Private Ryan, close-ups of severed legs in Black Hawk Down, or missing legs and cut off heads in Windtalkers, I really start to get the point: War is ugly, people die horrible deaths, and those that don't die will be scared for the rest of their lives, be it physically or psychologically. We get the idea. Let this war movie marathon be over already.

Recommended only if you're not sick of yet another war movie.
